Health Sciences South Carolina (HSSC) was established as a collaborative, recognizing that the state can achieve greater results working together for common goals. Since 2004, HSSC has served as a lightning rod, attracting the support and involvement of a growing number or organizations eager to advance the health and economic wellbeing of the state.
Among HSSC's earliest partners is the South Carolina Hospital Association (SCHA), which represents nearly 100 member hospitals and affiliated organizations. Together, HSSC and SCHA are addressing such issues as patient safety and health care quality, which will have a positive impact on all of the state's hospitals and their patients. HSSC also has partnered with the South Carolina Department of Health & Human Services, the South Carolina Office of Rural Health, the South Carolina Office of Research & Statistics, and many others on other exciting initiatives that have the potential of transforming how health care is delivered in South Carolina as well as public health and the economy.
HSSC welcomes opportunities to partner with organizations that share its vision of improving South Carolina's health and economic fortunes. Contact us to start a conversation.
