Patient Advisory Committee

In 2009, Health Sciences South Carolina (HSSC) established its first patient advisory committee to provide input, insight, and oversight to the organization's research activities and to ensure the public a voice on matters related to patient safety, healthcare quality and clinical effectiveness.
Members of the committee were chosen from across the state and from all walks of life to ensure a diversity of perspectives and opinions. Participation is voluntary.
