COLUMBIA, S.C., August 27, 2009 – Health Sciences South Carolina is pleased to announce Cynthia Williams, MBA, has joined its staff as the project manager for the electronic Institutional Review Board (eIRB). In this role, Williams will lead activities for the eIRB program, which involves planning, designing, deploying, and maintaining custom solutions for the various IRB teams at the major medical facilities and universities across the state. Williams joins HSSC after working with General Motors in Michigan for more than ten years, where she most recently served as the director of Global Technology Management. She earned her Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Kettering University in Flint, Mich. She earned her Master’s of Business Administration from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. In 2008, Williams completed an Executive Education Program from Columbia University in New York, N.Y. Commenting on Williams’ addition, HSSC President and CEO Jay Moskowitz says, “We are excited to have Cynthia join our organization.
