Health Sciences South Carolina (HSSC) is committed to insuring the privacy and safety of our visitors. Our Web site, www.healthscience.org, contains some forms through which users may request information or supply feedback directly to HSSC.  In some cases, telephone numbers, return addresses or e-mail addresses are required so that we may supply you with the requested information.

HSSC may also track where you go or what you read in our Web site so that we can supply you with effective follow up information, but only if you have given us explicit permission to do so by completing one of our information request forms that asks you if we may do so.  After completing an information request form, we may contact you if appropriate in an attempt to provide you with the information you requested. HSSC does not provide any information supplied on Web forms to any outside organization for any reason (other than where we may be required to by law). In certain cases information collected may be shared with HSSC partners. In all such cases forms collecting such information are clearly marked to indicate that such information is being shared with trusted parties other than HSSC.

HSSC also routinely performs web site traffic analyses through which we track statistics such as which pages are visited in what order, where users come from, and how long users spend on our site. Such information is used primarily for site improvement and in an attempt to deliver better information to the end user. HSSC does not associate such information with specific identities of parties who may visit our site.
