SCTR Scientific Retreat on Health Disparities

The South Carolina Clinical & Translational Research Institute is hosting a scientific retreat on health disparities. The retreat will take place on Wednesday, November 9 at the MUSC Drug Discovery Auditorium in downtown Charleston.

The purpose of this retreat is to provide a forum for sharing research ideas, professional networking, and opportunities for new collaborations to advance Health Disparities related research. The retreat will highlight current health and health care disparities in South Carolina, ongoing and new research on health disparities, and interactive workshops and sessions on efforts to achieve health care equity.

President of the American Public Health Association, Dr. Camara Jones, will deliver the keynote address: Achieving Health Equity: Tools for a National Campaign Against Racism.

The retreat is free and open to all, however registration is required!
