Health Sciences South Carolina understands how taxing the holiday season can be for families in need. In an effort to do our part, the HSSC staff sponsored a canned food drive for Harvest Hope. Donation boxes were set up in our offices and staff filled them with non-perishables and personal hygiene goods. At the end of our 6-week drive, HSSC delivered more than 240 pounds of donations to the Harvest Hope Food Bank of Columbia. In addition, the staff chose to forgo their usual holiday gift exchange and instead brought in toys to be donated to area children on behalf of Toys for Tots.
