South Carolina Office of Rural Health

In South Carolina, 36 of the state’s 46 counties fall outside of a metropolitan area. Some portion, if not all, of 44 of the state’s 46 counties are medically under served.The South Carolina Office of Rural Health (SCORH) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare services for all rural South Carolinians. SCORH’s vision is that South Carolina’s rural and under-served citizens have optimal healthcare services that enhance the quality of life of every community.
