Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network

Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network began in 2012 in central Tennessee. The network was created when a group of the region’s top physicians, hospitals, and health systems came together to envision a new way of delivering health care. Their founding vision was focused on preserving health, not just treating illness.

The founders imagined a network that would apply technology to collaborate across organizations.
They saw the benefits of working together to share information and translate recent, proven research into clinical practice. By collaborating, They could make it easier to keep people healthy. They could empower Their participating providers by giving them the support and resources they need to provide exceptional, patient-centered care.

Keeping people healthy has another important effect: it drives health care costs down. The Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network believes that everyone should share the benefits of working together to promote health. Their approach is working, with proven savings and healthy members across Tennessee and surrounding states.
